Ori Zadok is a child development professional, educator, and parent with close to 3 decades of experience working with young children, families, and educators. His work is grounded in a simple belief: when adults understand how children develop, everything gets easier.
Ori spent years as the Director of an early childhood center, where he oversaw programs serving infants through preschool-aged children, led teams of educators, and worked closely with families navigating the everyday challenges of raising young children. He has also developed and implemented physical education and play-based programs for elementary-aged children, always emphasizing that through play, children grow, learn, and thrive.
Across his career, Ori has worked with hundreds of children and families, giving him a real-world perspective on child behavior, emotional development, and the parent-child relationship. His approach blends research in child development with practical, usable strategies that parents can apply immediately. He focuses on helping adults understand not just what children do, but why they do it—and how to respond in ways that support long-term growth.
Through The Ori Experience, Ori shares insights, tools, and perspectives that help parents feel more confident, clear, and grounded. His content is direct, honest, and often humorous, reflecting both his professional background and his personality. He is known for breaking down complex ideas into language that makes sense in real life, without judgment, shame, or unnecessary complexity.
In addition to his work in education, Ori is a children’s book author and creative storyteller, bringing his understanding of child development into engaging, accessible content for both children and adults. He is also a speaker and workshop facilitator, helping organizations and communities better understand how to support children and families.
As a father of two, Ori brings both professional expertise and lived experience to his work. He understands the challenges, the uncertainty, and the desire to “get it right.” His goal is not to create perfect parents, but to help adults feel more capable, more informed, and more connected to the children in their lives.
The Ori Experience is built on the idea that parenting does not have to feel overwhelming. With the right understanding and approach, it can feel intentional, manageable, and even enjoyable.
